hmm....that last post was sort of an accident. I got an email saying that I better do something or they were gonna shut down my account...so I clicked a couple of times and before I knew it, it had posted that generic message.

SO, I don't really plan on 'bringing Xanga back' right now, mostly because I don't have time but I didn't really want to lose my account and all my old blogs... there are some good memories in there!

Since I'm on here, I guess I'll give you all a brief summary of what's going on in my life.

Last week we went camping at the beach! It was a lot of fun! Gabe and Mandy came down to camp with us. A friend lent us two jet skis for the whole week. On Friday I left the family at the beach and went on two day rafting trip (compliments of a company that we've been working for). This week I have a ton of work to do in preparation for another week off. Will and I are planning on joining some friends for a week of back packing/camping in the Grand Canyon next week.

other then that....life is boring...

We went to the beach last week...sort of a 'last family vacation' before the wedding.  It was nice to be able to just relax and spend time together!

I know I know…it’s been too long!

 

I’ve been busy…'What? That’s not a good excuse?'  Fine then…I won’t offer any excuse.

 

MF tagged me a while ago and said I’m supposed to post 6 weird things about myself (again!).  She wouldn’t even accept my antiquated ‘5 weird things post’ as proof that I’m weird, insisting instead, that I write six more!

 

 

Okay, so it’s not that hard because I really am weird…

 

1. I’d like to start off by saying thank you for all the kind comments on the last post…you are all very generous to say such delightful, albeit undeserved, things about me.  I only have one problem…I think it all went to my head.

 

But don't worry, I think it's all hot air!  (anybody got a pin?)

 

 

2. Digging into old picture files we discovered that I'm actually Mexican!

 

No wonder I like burritos so much!

 

3. Sorry, I never learned to speak Spanish. But I did practice singing a little bit…This is me and three of my weird siblings asking for the Mercy that we so desperately need! (2.7MB) (Disclaimer: one of my sisters wanted me to make it clear that the song is not weird...we are.)

 

4. I have this weird problem when I sing...All the girls come up to me and want their picture taken.

 

 

5. My siblings are...weird...  In an effort to maintain her impeccable integrity, Alyssa came up with a new way to swing dance…alone. (Video about 1.3MB)

 

6. And last of all...I don't sleep in the house that I live in.  In fact I don't sleep in a house at all!  Not even a dog house!  (that was lame)

 

Wow! I'm glad I got all that off my chest!

 

Now I have a very important question for you...

This ^ is my verse right now.  I know I've got the peace (dude) but not sure I've got the edifying thing down yet...! I'll have to work on that.
